The Order

The Order is a tabletop card game that blends strategic gameplay with biting satire and a dash of luck. Players navigate the treacherous waters of modern society, vying for Influence and Wealth to become the leader of The Order, a mysterious organisation pulling the strings behind global events. Play as one of eight Candidates across four different sectors: business, government, media, and cult figures. Each player embodies a unique character, strategically deploying cards to build their empire and undermine their rivals’ attempts to lead The Order. Using Attack, Defense, Executive Order, Wealth, Influence, and News cards, players experience the thrill (and the absurdity) of manipulating public opinion, embezzling tax money, and maybe even using gangs or robbers to steal Wealth. When the first Candidate reaches their required number of Wealth and Influence points, they are the winner and become the new leader of The Order, ending the game. The Order mirrors current events, with cards inspired by today's headlines. Rolls of the dice keep things unpredictable, ensuring that every game is a unique and engaging experience. —description from the designer
