At the start of the game, you roll 6 dice and freely write the rolled values on one of the cards—this will be the starting setup. Each player gets 4 cards, and in each round, using a dice selection mechanism, you write numbers onto your two active cards. Whenever one of your cards is completed, you must immediately place it onto the shared area. The goal is to connect to as many other cards and numbers as possible, since this is how you score points.
