El Juego del Mate

Build collections of mates, bombillas, and thermoses and become the best cebador! El Juego del Mate is the official game of the National Mate Festival. It consists of 46 cards representing elements of the mate world, such as bombillas, mates, and kettles. It also has five jokers whose illustrations refer to the ways we like to drink mate, whether bitter, sweet, with herbs, tereré, or cooked. Finally, the deck is completed by five special cards that represent the ideal step-by-step process for preparing a good mate. To play, you should know that the mechanics fall within the drafting family: you will receive eight cards and must leave one in your place at the table, passing the remaining seven to the player on your left. Consequently, you will receive seven cards. We repeat the sequence, leaving one card and passing six, which also gives us six. We repeat until everyone has eight cards in their area of ​​the table. At that point, we present the combinations we've made: the best combinations earn us higher scores. Mate is a game for the whole family and can be enjoyed with friends, with quick 15-minute games for two to five players ages eight and up.
