Splentia

Splentia is a medium-weight board game that blends puzzly tile placement with engine-building elements. As gem artisans, players compete to become the most renowned in the kingdom. Expand your mining sites and grow your team of workers to complete intricate gemworks and earn VP. Each player simultaneously draws Miner Tokens and places them on their own Mining Sites. If a token can no longer be placed, the player goes Bust. Players may also choose to stop drawing at any time before going Bust. Players gain Gems based on where their Miner Tokens were placed. Combine Gems to complete Blueprint Boards (puzzles). Completing a board grants rewards such as gaining new Miners, unlocking Mining Sites, and earning Victory Points (VP). Repeat these steps until a player reaches 15 VP. Then, check Achievement Cards (personal goals) and determine the final score. The player with the most VP wins the game. —description from the designer
