Jardim Encantado

In a distant realm where fairies once flourished, darkness has dimmed the magic of the world. Only the power of enchanted crystals can restore the forgotten beauty of the Fairy Garden. In Jardim Encantado ("Enchanted Garden"), players compete to collect and use colorful crystals to explore magical garden locations, gaining points and unlocking bonuses. Each turn, players play cards in trick-style challenges to acquire the best crystals for their tableau. These crystals are then spent to acquire garden cards of increasing power and value, which provide bonuses for future turns and contribute to endgame scoring. As the game progresses, players race to unlock powerful Fairy cards by meeting specific conditions, gaining significant exploration points. The game ends when a player reaches 12 points or when the third Fairy is claimed. The player with the most exploration points is declared the guardian of the restored garden. With clever hand management, timing, and tactical choices, Jardim Encantado offers an elegant blend of trick-taking, tableau building, and set collection, all wrapped in a whimsical fantasy theme. —description from the designer
