Das Alijah-Spiel
In Zionist discourse, "Alijah" is a term for migration to Palestine. Das Alijah-Spiel ("The Alijah Game") is a roll-and-move game depicting that migration. Players travel from Germany to Emek Chefer. Several events may occur during their journey, which are triggered when a player lands on a specific space. Each event has some story attached to it; mechanically, this results in having to go a few spaces back or forward, or having to skip one or more turns. Some spaces also require the players to pay some money, which is supposed to be collected in a collection box of the Jüdischen Nationalfonds, an organisation which raised money for the migration to Palestine. The rules don't explicitly state whether the money is supposed to go to the winner, or to the Nationalfonds.
