Board Game

Wilderness

By Michael Zelenka

One player rolls the dice and everyone draws the corresponding animal on their game board. The special trick: predators such as the bearded vulture, snake, fox and heron need prey animals as neighbors to be scored. In addition, each animal only prefers certain areas. Ready to release a few animals into the wild? Each number is a specific animal. For one, you can draw a mouse or a fish in a single square on your board. For a three, you can draw a snake or a heron with three squares. Animals with one or two boxes are prey animals and score one or two points. Animals with three or more squares are predators and need prey animals as neighbors to score points. Draw the animals wisely so that no predators end up "starving" because they have no prey as neighbors. And draw your animals only in areas where they belong. The heron can be drawn on meadow or water squares but not in the woods. The game ends when nobody can draw an animal on their board anymore. The person with the most points wins. —description from the publisher
