Gatling Camel Riders

By Dylan Hughes · Art by Dylan Hughes

Many a history book will tell you that the art of the aerial dogfight was discovered in 1915, as various countries came up with the concept of strapping one or more belt fed machine guns to the front end of powerful, manoeuvrable biplanes. What those history books neglect to tell you is that half a century earlier, before the invention of the aeroplane, far off in the hot deserts of the orient, men were engaging in a similar sport. this time on land, with the newly invented Gatling gun strapped to the front of a ferocious and manoeuvrable Camel. It was these gun-laden beasts who inspired the name Sopwith Camel. With this rulebook, we aim to show you the true original art of the dogfight, of the Gatling Camel Riders (GCR). —description from the publisher
