This is a doujin game that was produced for sale at Game Shows in Japan (such as Tokyo Game Marker). To get one you needed to preorder it in advance and then pick it up at the show. This game is set in the Legend of the Galactic Heroes Universe, an anime series that is very popular in Japan. The game deals with the Battle of Vermilion, which occurred during the Empire's invasion of Alliance territory. The game's system is based on Command Magazine issue 53's game called Grunwald 1410.
