Nexus

Nexus is a card game where the core of the game is about combining two factions to take down the enemy nexus. Each faction has its strengths and weaknesses, its own playstyle, personality, and backstory. Nexus takes the “easy to learn, hard to master” concept to the next level: it perfectly adapts to those who want a “plug and play” experience, but also to those who aim to master all of its possible combinations. Your goal is simple: bring your opponent’s Nexus down from 30 energy points to 0 before they do the same to you. To achieve this, you’ll play attack, defense, and support cards, along with powerful events and faction-specific abilities to trigger devastating combos. Games are quick and dynamic, with short turns that reward both bold plays and careful planning. In Nexus, players draft factions of 30 cards from a randomly revealed pool. Depending on game mode, the number of factions and drafting method will change. Turns are divided into Draw, Action, Attack, End of Turn. Offensive units are automatically destroyed regardless of the outcome of attack. The base game comes with two faction boxes: Warnarok and Last Dawn. —description from the publisher
