Protocole IOMV2236472L
By Antoine Tissot · Art by Henri Kermarrec
Protocole IOMV2236472L is a politically-commited card game. Each card represents an Alien figure with its own color and shape (features). There are 6 colors and 6 shapes, all combinations of which are represented. Players try to score points by keeping as many Aliens as they can in their Home. However, they need to match a feature with the selected Aliens. Each player receives two cards in their Home. All other cards are dealt as players hands. On their turn, players place a card from their hand either face up in the Protocole, or face down in their Home. When the Procole contains 5 cards, a selection is made. The Aliens with the most common feature (majority) are selected, the other Aliens are discarded. When all cards have been played, a scoring phase takes place. All players with Aliens in their Home not matching a feature in the selected Aliens are eliminated. Other players score 1 point per Alien in their Home. The selected Aliens are then shuffled again and dealt to the remaining players. The game ends when the selected Aliens are 7 or less. One last scoring phase occurs and the scores are tallied. Whoever has the most points wins the game.
