Board Game
Paris Pastries
A set collection card game of baking pastries and satisfying discerning customers in Paris at the start of the 20th century. At the start of the game, players select unique early 20th century baking tools. During game play, bakers collect ingredient cards and combine them to create amazing baked goods, matching ingredients with those required by an array of recipe cards. Bakers also seek to create baked goods matching the flavor preferences of customers to boost their scores. Ingredients may be drawn two at a time; alternately, a baker may choose to draw ingredients until they choose to stop or until they "bust" by drawing a duplicate card. A baker who "busts" gets to keep only one card. This "push your luck" mechanism adds suspense and tension to the game, increasing player excitement.
