The Hood Game

The game mechanics are straightforward. Players take turns rolling the dice and moving around the board. There are several areas on the board that cause you to go to jail, return back to start, and screw other players over in a nasty way. You are trying to make it to the end/finishline to win, but there will be many pitfalls in your way, causing you to start over from the beginning. The game includes aspects of Monopoly, The Game of Life, Sorry, and Chutes and Ladders in a backstabbing and grimy world of ruthless competition. Parts of the game have you dealing with a shady public defender, two crooked police officers, the sudden death of elimination by another player, and collecting children only to pay child support to the brink of bankruptcy.
