Taxi: The Game of "Fare" Play

Taxi is a light strategy, route building, tile placement game with a little bit of take that mechanics mixed in. Players play the role of taxi drivers, navigating a growing cityscape. The goal is simple yet challenging: create an unobstructed route from a starting location to an ending location, as shown on your Fare card, using a variety of road segment cards laid out in a shared grid. But the road to success is filled with unexpected detours! Your opponents are crafty, setting up roadblocks like parades and traffic jams. And if that wasn't enough, watch out for those special cards that could have you sidelined for speeding or making way for an ambulance.
