The rules are designed to recreate the small clashes that took place in the Italian wars of independence, from the unfortunate undertaking of King Joachim Murat’s Tolentino (1815), to the Third War of Independence (1866). It focuses on the War of 1848. It simulates clashes that involve the use of forces from a platoon to two infantry companies on each side, with small cavalry and artillery elements to support. It includes scenarios: Ponte di Goito – 8 April 1848 The charge of Pastrengo – 30 April 1848 Night raid: raiders attempt to destroy some artillery positions under construction... Scale 1 soldier = 1 real soldier Rules designed for 1/72 but adaptable to 28mm or 15mm Rules in Italian
