Even if another player leads the highest number, 13, you can push your own card! By adding a card to your hand, you can increase the number you played from your hand! (However, there is a disadvantage in that you will not be able to participate in the final trick!) The "Grab" card, one of the skateboarder's tricks, allows you to "recover a random card from the discard pile" if you lose with a grab card (10, 11)!
