Board Game
Johari Bazaar
By Balázs Bergendy · Art by Sándor Zubály
Convincing India's most famous gem merchant that your gem collection is the most valuable is no easy task. Especially, if this is also the goal of your opponent. Players want to sell their gems for the highest possible price. The value of gems will be determined by their beauty and rarity. The aim of the players is to place their gems in front of the merchant in such a way that their own collection is the most valuable and thus the deal is made. During the game, players will take turns, placing their gems on the outer spaces of the game board. If gems have already been placed in a row or column, the new one pushes them all towards the opposite side of the board by one space. With this, the value of individual gems changes continuously during the game. Whoever has the highest total value of their gems at the final standing, is the winner. The box contains two additional modules which can be added to the basic game, even together. With the Business Partners module, players are accompanied by a business partner who will provide a unique ability to them. While the Purses module brings an exciting set collection to the game. —description from the designer
