Board Game
Fairness and Equality
By hanawa_re
This game, themed around fairness and equality, uses a Simultaneous Action Selection with Conflict mechanic. All players hold the same hand of cards (0, 1, 1, 3, 5), and the reverse side of each card always shows "2." Each round, a round card placed on the table is revealed, and it depicts either "Fair" or "Equal." When the round card shows "Fair," the value of the card played by each player becomes their score. When it shows "Equal," all players score 2 points. If more than half the players choose the same number, their cards are canceled and returned to their hands, making strategic bluffing crucial. Additionally, before the game begins, players can peek at one round card, allowing for strategies based on information asymmetry. —description from the designer
