Harbor of Blight: Obsidian

Harbor of Blight is a standalone game that takes you on a campaign to unravel the mysteries of the exotic world of Blight. You start as a new member of the Hunter's Guild by creating a custom or premade character based on 4 professions, each with 2 unique specialty routes. You battle with a unique skillset that levels up with you from 1-10. Skills replenish via various means such as cooldowns or by sacrificing your Life Force. Your character may also persist into your next playthrough (and future games) with the New Game+ feature. The core gameplay of each scenario includes a narrative prologue, followed by an Exploration Phase where you search the map via exploration tokens for loot, lay traps, other surprises and your target. The Combat Phase then begins in a fight with 1-3 enemies in a boss battler / dungeon crawler hybrid system. After successfully completing the Combat Phase you continue to the scenario epilogue, completion rewards, and the optional Social Phase in which you can level up friendship levels with your fellow NPCs and unlock other secrets. At the end of each scenario is also when you are allowed to shop with your Barter Points for new gear. Harbor of Blight is designed for solo or 2 player co-op as an introduction to campaign and RPG gaming for players interested in the genre but don't know where to start, and for existing players to have a new world to explore without the need for finding a large group. The setup is fast via campaign and map books. The learning curve is slight and introduced over the first three scenarios.
