Sacred Grounds

A once powerful and magical realm has been cast to ruins by angry gods. The witches of this realm have been banished and the land torn asunder. Legend has it that someday one witch will return to appease the gods by building altars in their names. Sacred Grounds is a competitive 3-4 player adventure board game. You will attempt to become this witch of legend by exploring the realm, uncovering mystical artifacts, and using them to outwit your opponents and build altars to the gods. But beware, the gods are still active and fickle, and your fate could change at any time. Each hexagonal map tile has either artifacts, events, or special actions players can take. The race is to use limited turn actions to make offerings to the gods in the most efficient way possible. Roll special Fate Dice to make your offerings of artifacts or defeated monsters, or else risk removing your tile and starting fresh.
