Board Game
Dragon Soul
By Sebastian Baverstam
Dragon Soul is a strategy and war medieval-themed board game inspired by the RTS computer game genre. Players build castles on grass tiles, draw soldier cards equal to the number of castles owned, and deploy soldier cards into stacks called battalions which move along the corners and centers of hexes doing battle in a rocks paper scissor style format. Trade in the rare soul stone card for a dragon at a boneyard hex. Dragons can wreak havoc on battalions but have no effect on castles. Battalion allowance is equal to the number of uncontested castles owned. Standing next to an enemy castle renders it useless, which is called "contested". The first player to reach and hold a designated number of uncontested castles wins. —description from the publisher
