Pirates of the High Teas

Pirates of the High Teas is a whimsical set collection game in which players are pirates competing to win their Captain's treasure by serving the most delicious afternoon tea. Players collect and match dishes with tea cards to serve the Captain a perfect meal. To acquire these dishes and teas, players select actions through a strategic worker placement mechanism on the pirate ship that determines turn order and number of cards. But don't forget, as pirates, there are lots of ways to break the rules! Players can smash their dishes together, creating ridiculous combinations that still pair perfectly. They can also use their cannon to blow up the available cards, send their monkey to steal a card off the top of the deck, and deploy a parrot to smuggle a single card directly to the Captain for points. At the end of 9 rounds, count your doubloons. The pirate with the most treasure wins. —description from the publisher
