Sons of Liberty

A card-driven, semi-cooperative storytelling game, along the lines of Dark Cults or Once Upon A Time. In this case, the players use ordinary playing cards to tell the story of an alternate history version of the American War of Independence, mixed with steampunk and action movie motifs. One player takes the role of the nefarious Brits, while the others play the Sons of Liberty. The cards both generate the plot and resolve whatever actions the characters take. The game goes through a series of acts, culminating in a major confrontation between the Sons of Liberty and the British forces of occupation. Optional rules can tweak the game to fit the players' preferences.
