Fly Wiz

Take on the roles of witches and wizards and challenge each other to a broom race! Each turn, draw a number of movement cards — which include actions like advancing, taking mana, and rolling the die — equal to the number of players and line them up in a row. Players then choose a card from their personal deck of numbered cards and reveal them simultaneously. These played cards are lined up in order beneath the movement cards, and each action is resolved from the highest-numbered card to the elowest. However, if two players play the same number (resulting in "butting"), they do not get to take an action and receive mana instead. Mana, which can be obtained in several ways, allows the player to roll the movement die to advance. This functions as a catch-up mechanism, with the first-place player paying 6 mana to roll and the fourth-place player paying 1 mana. The player who reaches the goal fastest wins. In addition to the basic rules, there are advanced rules where player characters each have unique abilities as well as special actions on each space of the race course. There are also cooperative rules where players work together to escape the dragon!
