Soul Strain is a card game for 1-4 players, enhanced by dice rolls, perfect for quick 15-20 minute sessions. It's designed for easy setup, offering simple, stress-free rules, and a dynamic and flowing gameplay experience. Soul Strain uses the mechanics of Pentaquest card game with some variations. Specifically, the target combinations on the cards are different, the player has a ticket that acts as a wildcard, the score is based on the combinations of cards retained and not on their number, there are 48 cards with combinations to beat instead of 42, there is no [+/-] symbol, and instead of having the two symbols Sun and Moon, there is only the Vinyl symbol. —description from the designer
