Board Game
Prickly Path
By Corné van Moorsel · Art by Laine Garrett
Players take turns moving their playing piece according to a die roll in zig-zag fashion across a large hexagonal grid consisting of 70 hexagonal spaces. Each player chooses whether to place one of his three types of cactus tokens onto the space that he lands on or to give his opponents a chance to place a token there. Play continues until all the spaces are filled. At that point, the players score for each group --- that is, all adjacent tokens are of the same cactus type --- that they have created. The larger the group, the greater the score for that group. The person with the most points wins.
