Meta Worlds
By Kenta Murayama (ムラヤマ ケンタ) · Art by GAI, Kenta Murayama (ムラヤマ ケンタ)
Meta Worlds is a bluffing game from Japan, combined with silly improvs, players take turns to draw a card from the deck, which also includes the Grimoire cards secretly created by the players. On your turn, draw a card, read its effect without revealing it to other players, and then read out the card effect, or improvise a fake effect and read it out. Other players may challenge and say “I doubt it” in which case the cards must be revealed. There is an advantage and penalty for the winner and loser of the challenge, respectively. The game's box art cover mimics the style of Nintendo Wii box art cover, and the creator has received Nintendo's approval for it. —description from the publisher
