Subterfuge: The Board Game

In the depths of the ocean tensions are rising. Neptunium, a rare new element with unprecedented uses, has been found in abundance under the ocean floor. In a frenzy, industrial superpowers race to the depths, sparking a fierce competition for control, development, and resources. Limited in what each individual has access to alone, these industry leaders forge strategies and pacts, each hoping to be the first to collect enough Neptunium. In Subterfuge, players control Industry superpowers competing for Neptunium (Np) by drilling new mines across the ocean floor, and by stealing existing mines of other players by force. Balance control of generators, providing you with electrical output, and factories, which produce your units used for combat. Excellent strategy will set you ahead of the pack, but diplomacy is where the game is truly won. Form alliances with other players, negotiate trades, and when the time is right, break all ties to shoot ahead for a victory! Subterfuge is based off of the hit mobile game of the same name (which already plays like a tabletop game). Like the mobile game, turns are taken simultaneously for all players and actions play out in real time! Each player will also be hiring random specialists throughout the game to alter the gameplay and give special abilities.
