Battle Break: Sengoku Tactics – Kawanakajima's Decisive Battle
This was a special limited edition stand-alone mail order game that used the mechanics of Battle Break to recreate the 4th Battle of Kawanakajima, fought between the Uesugi and Takeda in 1561. The game is played on a gridded map. Figures are stacked onto chips that reflect their level of power and life. The chips can also be spent to execute special moves--found under the figure bases. The round is basically split into 4 phases, and battles are resolved with a combination of movement (including flight), special moves, and dice rolls. The game includes 20 models, two sets of chips, dice, a double-sided playmat and rules.
