Бородино (Borodino)

This is a simple game from Tehnolog dealing with an episode during the Battle of Borodino. Both players have four soldiers, a cannon, and a redoubt. The players set up their forces 1 to 1.5 meters apart and roll a die to see who goes first. Each player, in turn, fires one shot for every soldier they have. Each shot must be from behind their line of fortifications, and no shot can be made unless a soldier is within 5cm of their cannon. If there is no soldier within 5cm, then the player, at the start of their turn, must place a solider within 5cm of their cannon. If a player hits their opponent's officer, then they get a free shot. The first side to eliminate all their opponent's soldiers wins. —user summary
