Newtopia: Alles auf Anfang

GAME PREPARATION Each pioneer chooses a character and receives 25 NEWTOPIA points at the start. In addition, 5,000 euros of starting capital is placed on the game board in the communal safe and taken out if necessary. The remaining money remains in the playing box, the "bank", and is taken out when instructed. GAMEPLAY The youngest pioneer in the round starts. He rolls the dice and moves forward by the number rolled. If the turn ends on a field with a number, the text for the corresponding field in the event booklet is read out loud and the task is carried out. If another person lands on the same space, the event must be carried out again. At the end of each month there are so-called "decision fields". You have to stay on these fields, even if a higher number is rolled. If there are still numbers left, they expire. If a pioneer reaches the "decision field", all other pioneers have to follow straight away. The person who gets onto the field first reads the task, leads the discussion and makes the final decision. Once the decision has been made, he can be the first to roll the dice again and move on. GOAL OF THE GAME It's not about getting to the finish line first. The winner is the person who has collected the most NEWTOPIA points after one year in NEWTOPIA.
