Board Game
Le Jeu du Tour de France Spirou
By (Uncredited)
Belgian cycling game about the Tour de France released in June 1960. This roll and move game inspired by the Game of Goose was published in four consecutive issues of Spirou (issues 1158 to 1161) during the summer of 1960. The game is played in multiple stages covering the full Tour. For each stage, a common track and common rules are used for the first 80 squares. However, the last 20 squares of each stage are played on different tracks using different rules and some stages are played with completely different rule sets. Time trials, for example, turn into timed dexterity contests. Points are earned for every stage and overall rankings are tabulated.
