High-Command

By Chester O. Goserud

High-Command, a game in which there is no element of chance, is played by two, three, or four players on a game board. This board has a red central section called "Siege Zone", containing 36 squares. At the four sides of the Siege Zone are yellow sections called "Base Areas", each containing 12 squares. The Siege Zone and the four Base Areas together constitute what is called "Combat Territory". —description from the rulebook High-Command is a chess-like game for up to four players, either individually or as partners. Each player controls an army consisting of 5 soldiers, 3 fighter planes, 2 tanks, 1 captain, and 1 bomber. The bomber has special rules for capturing opponent's pieces: if the piece is "watched" by a friendly piece, the bomber may not capture it. A separate rule sheet gives detailed examples. —user summary
