Sea and Sand

Roll a dice to select the size (small, medium or large) tile randomly chosen from the face down pile to place on the playing board. The tile placed must have a common edge to a tile already played and bonus points are available if the placed tile has an animal depicted. Covering other symbols on the board also generate bonus points (so an early introduction to tactical play). Unplayable pieces count as minus points at the end of the game.
