By Wojciech Zalewski

The Battle of Białołęka took place on 24 and 25 February 1831 in the village of Białołęka, Poland, during the Polish–Russian War 1830–31. The Polish forces defeated the Russians. However, the Polish victory was not decisive and ultimately inconclusive. Białołęka is a small town situated north of Warsaw. The Polish forces commanded by Jan Krukowiecki, Antoni Giełgud and Kazimierz Małachowski were fortified and their aim was to protect the entrance to Warsaw. There were some 13,000 men and 22 cannons in the Polish forces. The games use the Napoleon system by Taktyka i Strategia.
