Court in Chaos: A Game of Blame
By Richard Wolfrik Galland
With her Realm on the brink of ruin, the Queen is determined to root out those responsible and punish them. You are a royal advisor, and your life is on the line. You must find a scapegoat and dump the blame on them if you want to keep your head! Court in Chaos is a game for 2-4 players, lasting 15-30 minutes. Each turn, you must play a card from your hand to the Blame pile and follow the instructions on the card played. Each character has a special rule that modifies the instructions. Characters can change their loyalty, bury secrets (putting cards out of play) and gain Disgrace or Favour. The game ends when a player with 6 or fewer cards declares. Everyone counts up the BLAME points in their hand - the character with the highest BLAME is beheaded, those with one or more BLAME are banished and the blameless are blessed. If you declare, you cannot be banished - if someone has more BLAME than you, you are exonerated, otherwise, the executioner awaits! –description from designer
