Board Game
Illusionary Fortress
By Peter Schutze · Art by Karin Stampf, Peter Schutze, Tim Allen
This is a DTP game, with a sticky back sheet of counters that must be mounted. It is a two player game that covers the Japanese invasion of Singapore in early 1942, one of the most embarrassing defeats of the British Empire. One person plays the British/Australian forces attempting to defend Singapore. The other person plays the invading Japanese. The British player is basically fighting a delaying action, with the goal of preventing the Japanese from achieving their goals prior to the end of the game.
