Board Game
Last Stand in Hokkaido 199x
By Yasushi Nakaguro
Last Stand in Hokkaido 199x is an "alternate history" Operational level two-player board-wargame set in the early 1990s when the Soviet Union invaded Hokkaido. In reality, this did not happen, and at that time the Soviet Army did not have the ability to land multiple divisions and maintain logistics, but the Soviet leader, who judged that the United States could temporarily gain sea and air control by allocating resources to other regions (such as the Middle East, as in history), judged that the military, economic, and political gains were balanced. Suppose you have made the decision to gather landing boats and transport ships and land and invade Hokkaido. One person is in charge of the Self-Defense Forces and the other is in charge of the Soviet Army. Published with Banzai magazine 14.
