The Battle of Algiers

"The Battle of Algiers" - Terrorism versus Torture The game has two players. One plays the FLN and the other the paratroopers. The winner is the player who ends the game with the more political points. The map represents Algiers in 1960 (three years after the battle of Algiers) It is divided into 7 zones, each zone divided into 3 areas. FLN players have 40 counters. Each counter represents a FLN cell with a value. This value is the level of the cell: I for the simplest FLN Activists, II for the FLN Cell Members, III for the FLN Leftenents, IV for the FLN Chiefs and V for the FLN Leaders. FLN players has 15 level I counters, 12 level II, 7 level III, 5 level IV and one level V. The Para player has 6 counters of different colours, one for each regiment engaged in the Battle of Algiers. He also has 6 CC counter for the Commandments Centers.
