8 Planet

In 8 Planet, players have a hand of 8 cards and hope to get them in order. The deck of cards consists of some cards showing planets and some special moon cards. Players are not permitted to rearrange their hands; rather, to get their cards in order, on their turn, they will play any card from their hand, move their pawn that many spaces around a central sun and swap the card they played with the card in that location on the board. The acquired card can be added to their hand in any position. At the end of a round, players will earn 2 points if their hand is in order (it can wrap around from one end to the other), but lose points for gaps in the numerical sequence, for each moon, and if two moons are adjacent. The players start with 8 points and the game ends at the end of a round in which one player has 0 or fewer points. The person with the most points wins.
