Board Game
Sense of Time
By Mike Stutz
Sense of Time is a real-time strategy game for 2 to 4 players, where hourglass-powered robots battle for control of energy across a contested field. All players act simultaneously—no turns, no waiting. Each player controls up to five robots (represented by actual hourglasses) that can be moved only when their sand runs out. Timing becomes everything. Use your robots to claim batteries from the central board and drag them back to your zone to score energy—or snatch them from your rivals. When robots collide, dice determine the winner of the clash. The game is played over four 10-minute phases, each allowing different numbers of robots in play. At the end of the final phase, the player with the most energy wins.
