Wonky Wheels

Wonky Wheels is a racing game (our interpretation of Mario Kart), where players race around the track collecting Power-Ups, with which to disrupt their opponents, modify their vehicle and gain advantages. The track is a modular design, which allows players to create a range of circuits and incorporates octagon spaces which enable players to steer their vehicles. Each player has an identical deck of Movement Cards and choose 1 of the 3 from their hand to move their vehicle each turn, drawing a 3rd card from their deck at the end of their turn. In addition, players manage the condition of the vehicles brakes, mechanics and tires using their Player Mat. The game has many additional features and actions a player can take during their turn, such as driving over other vehicles, using free boosts and springs to advance. The Pits are an area they can repair damage to their vehicle and Super Power-Ups can be played 'out of turn'. The winner is the player who completes the designated number of laps the fastest.
