Celtic Skirmish

“Board & card game for 2 players. Minor Battle between two Celtic War Bands. Abstract skirmish level combat. Each figure represents a single man (unit). Victory: You win if you kill the opposing Chieftain.” The game is played on an 8x8 grid or chessboard. Miniatures or counters are used to represent the men, which come in three types: Chieftans, Champions, and Warriors. A custom deck of cards plays a central role in the game. The players draw a hand of cards from the shared deck. Card play determines when units may move, attack, or defend.
