The Battle of Dunstop Castle
By Tadashi Ehara · Art by Steve Swenston, Tadashi Ehara
Dunstop Castle is of course that fortress at the northwest portion of your Dragon Pass map in the Lunar Empire next to Jaldon's Wrong River at the end of the road from Goldedge. In a major offensive by the Sartar, Dunstop had to be taken within three days. Did they succeed? We're not sure, the history is vague on this point. What we have done is set up the situation as it was for you to find out what may have happened. You can play it out and decide for yourself whether the Sartar succeeded in taking Dunstop before finally being driven out by the superior army from Furthest. --publisher description A small-format two mapsheet game of fantasy combat in, around, and under Castle Dunstop. The game is 22 turns long, which includes daytime and nighttime turns. The winner is the player whose forces occupy the inner tower of the castle at the end of the game. Set in the Glorantha realm and inspired by the rules of White Bear & Red Moon. Published in the Wyrm's Footnotes newsletter, issue #3. --user summary
