Gaudeamus!: Zbuduj średniowieczny uniwersytet

Travel back in time to medieval Cracow and become one of the historical personages: Queen Jadwiga of Anjou, King Władysław Jagiełło, King Casimir the Great, or Cardinal Zbigniew Oleśnicki. Build the first Polish university and make it famous all over Europe! The action of the game takes place at the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries, in the heyday of the University of Krakow. The goal of the game is to found a university with 4 faculties: liberal arts, medicine, law, and theology. The first player to create all of them wins. To build a faculty, a player must collect the required cards and pay its cost. In each game round, players take their turns consecutively. During single turn, the player first draws and resolves the effect of a Random Event card, and then performs one of the available actions: a) opening a faculty (if the player meets the requirements), b) exchange of up to 3 cards from hand, c) using a special card and resolving its effect, d) buying a card from the board. At the end of the round, players bid for new action cards and collect coins from the faculties that are already running.
