Magicalligraphy
By Masakazu Takizawa (たきざわ まさかず) · Art by Masakazu Takizawa (たきざわ まさかず)
Magicalligraphy is a social deduction game where players attempt to guess which, if any, of the players were attempting to draw a different symbol than the others. To draw, each of the players puts a ring on one of their fingers that is connected with a thin wire to a feather quill. The quill is dipped into a container of water and the players attempt to, without verbally communicating, draw a certain symbol on a special sheet of paper where the water appears as black ink, but will dry without effect after a short period of time. After several drawing strokes, the players choose who, if anyone, to accuse of having been trying to draw a different symbol, and then points are awarded.
