Afrika macht Schule

A cooperative game about the rural school situation in Africa. 36 cards are laid out face down in a 6x6 grid. Players roll the dice and move one of 3 pieces across the grid, but may not jump over gaps. The card you leave is revealed. On 5 cards there are obstacles to learning (e.g. lack of school fees), which have to be removed immediately after uncovering in order to win the game. To remove a learning obstacle, an already uncovered photo pair must be removed from the grid. 4 turtle cards (recognizable on the back) help when it gets tough on the playing field. 1 monkey card causes trouble and all cards are unrevealed. —user summary
