Board Game
Sankt Martin Laternenspiel
By Elfriede Pauli
The game consists of 14 lantern cards, 9 event and solution cards each, and 4 luck cards. The lantern cards and solution cards are distributed to all players with their backs facing up. A face-down pile is formed from the event cards and luck cards. One card is drawn from this pile at a time. Whoever draws a lucky card may turn over a lantern card, which now shows the lantern light. If an event card is drawn, you need the matching solution card to reveal a lantern. You point to one of the face-down solution cards, this is temporarily turned over. In the case of 2 events (wind and rain), even a lantern that is already lit is extinguished if you do not find the matching solution card. If the players manage to light all the lanterns, they win the game, otherwise they lose together.
