El Foc de la Gleva
By Marc Figueras, Òscar Oliver · Art by Òscar Oliver
El Foc de la Gleva (The Clash at La Gleva) is a small and simple postcard game published as a freebie by SNAFU Design. It’s a 2-player game recreating a small clash during the Third Carlist War in Catalonia, around the city of Vic, in March 23rd, 1873. With a mechanics similar to the "Storm over..." series, the Liberal player must clear the road from Vic to the barracks of Conanglell, while the Carlist player must pass at least two units to the city of Vic. Otherwise, victory is checked tallying Victory Points for occupied areas. During six turns, players alternate activations of units in an area for movement or for combat, until all units have been activated or both players pass. Then a new turn begins.
