VYSHiBALY: Ramstein AFB

Op VISHiBALY: The Capture of Ramstein AFB 5th June, 04:00hrs, 24hrs before CASE RED, CASE BLUE and CASE BLACK, the Invasion of West Germany, 1984 and Ramstein is assaulted by a battalion force of VDV with the intention of disrupting the REFORGER effort to re-supply and re-inforce Germany as WWIII errupts. At the same time VDV are assaulting Grafenrheinfeld Nuclear Power Station to tie up the 3rd Infantry Division, Op. Vishibaly is designed to disrupt REFORGER as well as tie up elements of the 8th Infantry Division denying them supporting 3rd Armoured and CASE RED's thrust. Elements of the VDV are to seize and deny ramstein, take it out of action and then form up to head in formation to Frankfurt Un Der Main AFB and eliminate that... if there any survivors of Vishibaly! The scenario set is designed with full (generic) force lists for the VDV as well as the 8th Infantry Division; four linked scenarios ranging from the initial assault on Ramstein, to ambushing the relief column of the 8th iD and a 1:1 type scenario where a Spetznatz team infiltrates the control tower and seizes it versus a force of USAF Security Personnel. These scenarios are designed to be generic -so can be used with ANY rule set! Ideally suited for COLD WAR3! and BERLIN '84 these scenarios can be used with Team Yankee or even Command decision or Bolt Action! –Description from the publisher
